What ChiefOS is

ChiefOS is an autonomous AI Chief of Staff platform that connects to your work tools, reads your communications and calendar, and delivers a daily Executive Brief. It is operated by ChiefOS, Inc. (contact: stevencallaway1@gmail.com).

What data we access

When you connect your Google account, ChiefOS requests access to:

• Gmail - to read your emails and build context about priorities, open threads, and decisions
• Google Calendar - to read your meetings and deadlines for briefing and calendar prep
• Profile information - your email address and name, used to identify your account

What we do not do

• We never modify existing Gmail messages or existing calendar events on your behalf
• We never access Google Drive or Google Tasks
• In safe mode, ChiefOS may create Gmail drafts or tentative calendar holds for review without notifying guests
• We never share your data with third parties for advertising or marketing
• We never sell your data

How we use your data

Your data is used exclusively to generate your Executive Brief and power the ChiefOS AI features you use. Email and calendar content is processed by the Anthropic Claude API to generate structured summaries. We do not use your data to train AI models.

Data storage and security

Your OAuth tokens are stored encrypted in a Supabase PostgreSQL database. Email and calendar data is cached temporarily to generate your brief and is not retained indefinitely. We use industry-standard security practices for all stored data.

Data retention and deletion

You can disconnect your Google account at any time from the ChiefOS settings page. Upon disconnection, your OAuth tokens are deleted immediately. To request full deletion of your account and data, email stevencallaway1@gmail.com.

Google API disclosure

ChiefOS use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy , including the Limited Use requirements.
